Annette Francis

Annette Francis, 90, passed away on Wednesday, December 26, 2018 at her home in Bridgewater. She was born in Waco, Texas to the late Abraham and Selma Levy, and moved to Bridgewater in 2015, having also spent years in New York City, West Palm Beach, and Boston. After graduating from high school as valedictorian at age 16, Annette attended H. Sophie Newcomb Memorial College before continuing studies in music and broadcasting in Cincinnati. Her multifaceted career included time spent in radio and TV broadcasting, working for major magazine publications, authoring several best-selling books, founding a successful novelty book and notepad company, and providing world-class copyediting services. Additionally, Annette had a great love for music and was a prodigious pianist/accompanist in her youth, quickly developing into a prolific songwriter with several published works and ASCAP membership as well.

She is predeceased by her step-sister, Marjorie Frankel.

Annette leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving son, Alan Benjamin and his wife, Amy, grandchildren Alexander and Jesse Benjamin, and great-granddaughters Makenna and Keira Benjamin.

Friends and family are invited to offer their condolences from 10:30-11:30AM, Saturday, December 29, 2018 at the Bridgewater Funeral Home, 707 East Main Street, Bridgewater, NJ 08807 and will conclude with a memorial service at 11:30AM. Burial will take place at Hebrew Rest Cemetery in Waco, Texas.

So sorry to read about Annette She was a GREAT Lady I managed an Antique Shop on Charles St in Boston where she would stop in from time to time We had GREAT talks about LIFE !! Palm Beach & NYC!!!! RIP Annette Hope there speaking the proper ENGLISH !! in heaven !!!! Scott Klingeman
