Linda J. Koy

Easton – It is with great sadness that the family of Linda J. Koy, announce her passing on March 20, 2024 at St. Luke’s Anderson Hospital in Easton, PA. Linda was born and raised in Perth Amboy to the late Dominic and Geneva Paone. She was married to Martin Koy, and they resided in Sayreville, NJ for many years where they raised their family.  Afterwards, she resided in Bridgewater, and eventually retired to Easton, PA in 2014.   Linda worked in customer service throughout her career, most recently with Baker and Taylor, in Bridgewater, NJ. She was an active communicant of St. Mary’s Church in South Amboy and St. Bernard Church in Bridgewater for many years. Her devotion to the church and her family was unwavering. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend who were blessed to have her in their lives. She was a compassionate and generous woman, who made people feel special.  Linda loved to read, play games, do puzzles, and her love of handbags was known by all.  

Linda is predeceased by her son Scott M. Koy.  She leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving daughter, Kelly Koy Samra and husband, Robert, daughter-in-law, Sharon Koy, grandchildren, William and Jack Samra, and Rebecca and Matthew Koy, siblings, Dan Paone and wife, RoseAnn, and Judy Kolarick, many nieces and nephews, and her beloved puppy, Max.  

Visiting hours will be held from 4-7PM, Tuesday, March 26, 2024 at the Bridgewater Funeral Home, 707 East Main Street, Bridgewater, NJ 08807. Funeral Mass will be held at 10AM, Wednesday, March 27, 2024 at St. Bernard Church in Bridgewater. Entombment to follow at St. Bernard Mausoleum.
