Dan Dmuchowski: Artistic, intelligent, and a key character. He's very unorthodox and of course, brutally honest. Well known throughout the area yet few of us knew him well. Those of us who did were blessed with his presence. He has always been nothing but loyal and caring for we who had been close to him. His signature traits and styles are embedded deeply within us and will stand strong in our memories. We find it hard to believe that we will never hear his catch phrases again. His life style was considered "razors edge" and not ideal for most. Through and through, we knew he was accomplished, satisfied, and content. Now as it is, not one of us can't help but to crack a smile when we think of him... People change, memories fade, but Dan will always be Dan... For that we will always be grateful.

danny always came to work ON TIME and always with a lunch, I never had to buy him lunch or coffee where other guys were needy he always held his own a true man of charactor. it's that time of year where Dan would wait on the cornrer lunch in hand and after cleaning a spot for him in the car seat we'd start with the antics and the day would begin. I loved seeing him in dannyland, a place where i could leave him alone and he worked with passion. He loved coming to the church to help with the back drop for the play or to put a floor in for the Rabbi. His essence is what made him. he never lied stole or used the f bomb. He has been a a sight for sore eyes to many people and this morning the passenger seat is messy all ready for dan.

This is a terrible loss. I always enjoyed my random visits by Dan. He would suddenly materialize at my front door with a big smile saying "Guess Who" He was unlike anyone else. He was friendly and artistic. I have many fond memory's. From playing long games of risk, to watching him doodle on anything and he did. Dan was definitely a characters part Jeffery Lebowski, part sir digby chicken caesar .I apologize about the obscure reference; Point being we all miss Dan and wish he was still around.

Dan always had a smile and kind words for everyone. He was a thoughtful man, and incredibly talented with both words and visual art. Somerville won't be the same without bumping into Dan around town. My condolences to his friends and family.

Look to the night sky for comfort. "Perhaps they aren't stars but rather openings in heaven where the love of our lost ones pours through and shines down upon us to let us know that they are happy." ~ Eskimo Proverb
You know that Danny is up there painting murals all over heaven.
