Obituary

Xianzhi Liu, 84, passed away peacefully on March 8, 2023 with her family by her side.

Xianzhi was born in Shanxi, China on March 13, 1938. She was admitted to the Chemistry Department of Shanxi University. After graduation, she taught at the Taiyuan University of Technology. She had in-depth research knowledge on rare earth and steel. She helped many companies do chemical projects. She retired as a college professor from China. After retirement in 1997, she lived in the United States with her husband, Wuxian Guo.  They spent their golden years together in the US.

Xianzhi is survived by her 5 children, 8 grandchildren.

"Material is immortal" is the way she understood the world as a chemist. Similarly, Xianzhi Liu will be forever remembered as a woman who was Simple, Strong, Joyful and Tender…  We love you and miss you. Rest in Peace. 

Services will be held from 9AM-11:30AM at the Bridgewater Funeral Home, 707 E. Main S., Bridgewater, NJ 08807. Cremation will be held privately.
