William R. Zepp

William R. Zepp , 94, passed away on December 10, 2023 at RWJ Somerset Hospital after a fall on his daily walk.  He was a graduate of Bound Brook Schools and Ryder College class of ’51. He served in the US Army for three years in Korea.   Bill was a Master Plumber and the 3rd generation to run the Plumbing and Heating business started by his grandfather in 1906.  He was the son of William P. and Estelle Zepp.                             

Bill was a Deacon and Elder of the Bound Brook Presbyterian Church and a member of the Masonic Lodge 46.  He had been active in the Sea and Boy Scouts. He was past President of the Rotary Club and was a Paul Harris Fellow.  In the past Bill was a member of the BB Jaycees, the US Power Squadron, and the Raritan Yacht Club.  After retirement Bill was an 18 year volunteer for Somerset Hospital. He was a Jersey Shore fan that loved to sail on a good breeze.                                                                              

Bill leaves his loving wife Diane ( Thomas) of 68 years  and two children, Sherry Gilroy  and Scott Zepp.  He also leaves his sister Marjorie Schindelar and two grandchildren Andrea Lawler( Andrew) and Meredith Porcello ( John).

Visiting hours will be held from 10AM-11AM with an 11AM funeral service on  Monday, December 18, 2023 at the Bridgewater Funeral Home, 707 East Main Street, Bridgewater, NJ 08807. Interment will follow in the Bound Brook Cemetery.
