William F. Weimer
Raritan-William F. “Bill” Weimer, 72, passed away on Thursday, September 30, 2021. He was born in Jersey City to the late William and Florence Weimer. He was raised in Jersey City and resided in Bridgewater before recently moving to Raritan. Bill was a proud US Navy Veteran serving his country during the Vietnam War. Upon his return from the war, Bill began his 50 year career as a HVAC mechanic, retiring in 2016. In his spare time, Bill enjoyed playing his guitar, drawing, boating, fishing, lending a helping hand to all and most of all building Legos with his grandchildren.
Bill is survived by siblings, Jane Varcadipane and her husband, Joe, Thomas Weimer and his wife, Anne, Judith Bassford and her husband, Keith.
He leaves behind to proudly continue his legacy, his loving children, Amy DePack and her husband, Tim, Billy Weimer and his wife, Kerry, grandchildren, Matthew DePack and Sylvie Weimer.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory, Patriarch Uncle Bob Weimer and his wife Terri, many precious nieces, nephews and their children, cousins, their families and a collection of lifelong friends.
Visiting hours will be held from 3-7 PM on Wednesday, Oct. 6, 2021 at the Bridgewater Funeral Home, 707 East Main Street, Bridgewater, NJ 08807 with a memorial and military honor service at 6:30 PM.
