William Maciborski Obituary

William F. Maciborski, 78, of Branchburg, passed away after a long illness on Monday, May 26, 2025, at RWJUH-Somerville.

Born in Taylor, Pennsylvania, Bill was the beloved son of the late William and Stella Maciborski. A longtime resident of New Jersey, he was a proud graduate of Somerville High School, Class of 1965.

Bill loved to travel and was an avid sportsman who had a deep passion for baseball, football, fishing, and hunting. He was a devoted fan of Rutgers Football, the Miami Dolphins, and the Atlanta Braves—teams he followed with enthusiasm throughout his life.

He dedicated many years of his career to the grocery industry, working as a produce manager for the ShopRite Corporation and Kings.

Bill was predeceased by his beloved wife and the love of his life, Mary Jane (Floersch) Maciborski, who passed away in 2020, and by his sister, Marcia Duschl.

He leaves behind a loving legacy and will be dearly missed by his cherished son, William Maciborski; siblings Helen Leeds, Claudia Rochman, Paula Zagari, Denise Flynn, David Maciborski, and Michelle Callahan; and by the mother of his son and close friend, Linda.
