Bridgewater- Violet M. Piccolo, 101, died peacefully at home on Friday, May 27, 2022. Daughter of the late Angelo and Mary DeLorenzo, Violet was born in Passaic and lived most of her life in Bridgewater. Violet was a homemaker, and also did bookkeeping for many years. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, E. Henry Piccolo in 1995 and a brother, Richard DeLorenzo. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her beloved children, Ernest Piccolo and wife, Helen of Bridgewater, Eleanore Charnecky and husband, Richard of Whitehouse Station, and Marie DeAngelo and husband, Dominick of Chester; a sister, Dorothy Bassi of Bridgewater; and 6 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren. Visiting hours will be held from 9-11AM with an 11 AM funeral service on Thursday, June 2, 2022 at the Bridgewater Funeral Home, 707 East Main Street, Bridgewater, NJ 08807. Entombment will follow at St. Bernard's Cemetery in Bridgewater.
