Victor Napenas Obituary

In Loving Memory of Victor Tuazon Napenas

Victor Tuazon Napenas, a devoted husband, loving father, and proud grandfather, peacefully departed this world on October 27, 2023, at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital in New Brunswick, New Jersey. He was 76 years old and was born on January 4, 1947, in the Philippines, to his parents Leopoldo Napenas and Renita Tuazon.

Victor was a proud Filipino, deeply rooted in his heritage, and a devoted member of the Catholic faith, finding spiritual solace at Our Lady of Mt Virgin. He also shared a profound connection with the Bukas Loob Sa Diyos (BLD) community, which enriched his spiritual journey and allowed him to build lasting bonds with fellow believers.

One of Victor's greatest passions in life was his love for ballroom and Latin dancing. His graceful moves and the joy he found on the dance floor brought happiness not only to himself but to those who had the privilege of dancing alongside him.

On Valentine's Day, February 14, 1971, Victor celebrated love in the most profound way, as he married the love of his life, Rebecca Alday Napenas. Their enduring love story served as an inspiration to many, and they created a life filled with love, respect, and unwavering commitment.

Victor's pursuit of knowledge and growth led him to earn a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management from San Beda College of Manila. His dedication to education and personal development was a testament to his lifelong commitment to self-improvement.

Victor was also an entrepreneur in the healthcare industry. He was the owner of Valley Rest Nursing Home in Totowa, New Jersey, Evergreen Rest Home in Sewell, New Jersey, and Shady Oaks Nursing Home, National Park, New Jersey. His contributions to this field left a lasting impact, reflecting his commitment to caring for others.

In his retirement years, Victor dedicated himself to being a financier and chauffeur to his beloved grandchildren. The time he spent with them was a source of immense joy, and he took great pride in being a loving and attentive grandfather.

Victor is survived by his two sons, Victor "Torch" Alday Napenas and Victor Brian Napenas, along with his daughter-in-law, Anne Napenas. His legacy of love and commitment to family will continue through the generations, as he leaves behind his cherished grandchildren, Brianne Victoria Napenas and Brian Adan Victor Napenas.

He also leaves behind his siblings, Nelson Napenas, Alice Mercado, Helen Casal, Lillian Napenas, Felicidad Napenas, and Nestor Napenas. He was predeceased by his brother, Arturo Napenas, and his sister, Yolando Panganiban. The bond of family was a cornerstone of Victor's life, and he shared countless memories and moments of joy with his brothers and sisters.

Victor's memory will forever be cherished by those who knew and loved him. His kindness, generosity, and unwavering love for his family and friends will remain in the hearts of all who had the privilege of being a part of his life. May he rest in eternal peace, surrounded by the love and memories he created, and may his spirit continue to inspire those who follow in his footsteps.
