Mrs. Usha Maheshwari was a devoted wife, a loving mother, and a caring grandmother. She held double Master’s degrees in Sociology and Economics and was an educator in those fields at a degree college. With a goal of cultivating young minds, she also founded a children’s school. Throughout her life, she positively influenced her community through philanthropy and service. She left this world suddenly on May 16, 2022.
Mrs. Maheshwari was a dear friend and the life of every occasion. She dedicated her life to caring for her family, as she was more than happy being the central figure in the lives of her children who saw her as the star in their eyes. Her presence radiated life, love, and wit – anyone who had the privilege of knowing her always left with a smile. She had a very giving heart and never expected anything in return. In her free time, she enjoyed painting, knitting, crochet, embroidery, and cooking.
Mrs. Maheshwari leaves behind nothing but beautiful memories and was a kind soul, an inspiration, and will be dearly missed by her loved ones. She is survived by her husband, Rakesh; her sons, Ashish (Somna) and Mudit (Sarika); her daughter, Varsha; her grandchildren, Divi, Urvi, and Avni.
In lieu of sending flowers, we request memorial donations to be made to the Easter Seals of NJ in honor of Mrs. Maheshwari, as she was passionate about supporting those who were less fortunate than her, especially children with disabilities: https://www.eastersealsnj.org/donation/
