Thomas Sohn Obituary

Thomas E. Sohn aka "Moose" of Branchburg, NJ passed away suddenly at the age of 61.  Many remember Tommy driving an old tractor in the Memorial Day Parade or playing Santa for years in the area. He was a Mason for several years. He hung out at his sister's garage as a child Pendelton Brake Co., where he sold bicycles, wood cars, trucks and anything that wasn't nailed down. He owned a lawn mowing business and Sohn Trucking Co. For most of his life he drove trucks snow plowing, delivering stone etc. He was always working. He had many health issues recently and was confined to a wheelchair. It was a major adjustment for him.  Tom is survived by his sister, Martha Pendleton, brothers, Leon and Forrest Sohn, nieces, Angel (John) Laura, Elizabeth, nephew, Mitchell, great nieces, Hydie, and Donnamichele and great-great niece, Robbie Hyde.  He has numerous friends that he greatly cared about and we can't mention them all. Special mention goes to Joe Horner, Frank Gallo, George Vetter and family, and Bonnie Manning, Patty and a little boy who he meant the world to known as his "Uncle Tommy", Christian.  Donations in his memory can be made to Fresh Ponds Chapel, PO Box 361, Dayton, NJ 08810, C/O Rev. Robert S. Turton.
