Thomas J. Marshall, Sr.
Bridgewater- Thomas J. Marshall, Sr., 63, died peacefully at the home of his brother, Stuart and sister-in-law, Kathy, in Sebring, FL. Tom was born in Somerville, NJ and was a lifelong resident of Bridgewater. He worked for Bridgewater Township as building maintenance foreman for over 17 years. He was a life member of the Finderne Fire Department with over 44 years of service. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him, and will always be remembered for his selfless acts of helping others, unparalleled work ethic, sense of humor, devotion to the “King of Rock & Roll- Elvis”, and loyalty to Starbucks. Tom enjoyed going out to eat, taking road trips to places like Savannah, GA, collecting elephants and relaxing with family and friends over a good meal. He is survived by his children, Thomas J. Marshall, Jr. and wife, Danielle of Manville, Jessica Marshall of GA; grandchildren, Gabriella and Taylor; parents, John J. Marshall and Charlotte (Hubbard) Marshall of Bridgewater; siblings, Stuart Marshall and wife, Kathy of FL, Elaine Taylor and husband, Sidney of SC, Ellen Falcinelli of CA, Carol DeStefano of Readington Twp, and Lisa Winston and husband, Adam of NV. Tom is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, cousins and countless friends. Visiting hours will be held from 2-6 PM on Sunday, April 18, 2021 at the Bridgewater Funeral Home, 707 East Main Street, Bridgewater, NJ 08807. Funeral services will be held 10 AM on Monday, April 19, 2021 at the funeral home followed by entombment at Resurrection Cemetery in Piscataway.
