Manville-Theresa A. Demeter, 73, passed away on Thursday, May 14, 2020 at her home in Manville surrounded by her loving family Theresa was born to the late Joseph and Marge (Gabory) Jaskulski in New Brunswick and was a lifelong resident of Manville.  Terri loved watching her grandchildren play sports and never missed her kids or grandkids sporting events.  If she couldn’t make it to the Manville High School field you could be sure to find her on her front porch watching their game or track meet.  She lived for her grandchildren.  Terri loved her scratch-offs, coffee and trips to the casino with her husband Bill.  She will be greatly missed by all. She has been an angel all her life and now she has her wings.

She was predeceased by her brothers, Jimmy, Richie and Tony Jaskulski.

Terri leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving husband of over 54 years, William J. (Bill) Demeter; children, Sharon Stapert and husband, Darrin, William J. Demeter and wife, Tonya, Robert K. Demeter, and wife, Lori, and David J. Demeter, and wife, Maria; grandchildren, David, Jake, Billy Jr., Justin, Brianna, Bobby, Shane, Alexis, Amber, Kyle, and Kayla; sisters-in-law, Jane and Helen, and many nieces and nephews.

Private services will be held at Bridgewater Funeral Home, 707 E. Main St., Bridgewater, NJ 08807. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
