Teri K. Jones

Teri K. Jones was born in Denver, CO on July 6, 1956, and died in Cedar Grove, NJ on December 13, 2024, after a lengthy illness.  Following her graduation from Bennett High School (Colorado), Teri began working as a bookkeeper for Wm Moran Construction.  That was the beginning of a long career in bookkeeping and accounting for Colorado’s home construction industry, comprising positions with Western Summit Constructors, Park Funding - Park Homes - Park Land, and Summit Legend.  During this time, Teri earned General Practice Paralegal certification from the Denver Paralegal Institute.  In later years, she worked for The Business Manager, a bookkeeping and accounting firm, and then for GAVs Technologies in Broomfield, CO and Princeton, NJ.  Teri enjoyed her work and what it taught her about construction, new technology, and computers.  At home, she doted on a succession of Afghan Hounds and Border Collies.  As Teri’s brothers moved around the country, she took the opportunity to visit them, exploring Chicago, Boston, Washington, DC, Oahu, Southern California, and New Mexico.  Teri is predeceased by her parents, Byron W. Jones and Joyce M. Cody.  She is survived by older brothers, Gregory and Gary, Gary’s wife, Amanda, their children, and her younger brother Todd and his wife, Tracy.

Private services were entrusted to Bridgewater Funeral Home, Bridgewater, NJ.
