Teajay Yu, 74, died peacefully on Sunday, March 27, 2022 at his home in Raritan. Born in Masan, Korea, Teajay was the son of the late Hyung Rok Yu and Maeng Duk Han. He is survived by his loving sister, Chong U Yu, his beloved sons, Ryan Yu and wife Jennifer, Roney Yu; grandchildren, Isaac, Ethan and Samuel and many nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly.
He was blessed to have been a part of May and Roger Brydon’s family for twenty plus years. Their children Roger and Jeanne were like his own and Jeanne’s daughter, Gizelle, was the apple of his eye.
He immigrated to the United States in 1975. He served in the US Armed Forces in the early 80's, was a tractor trailer truck driver and worked at General Motors in Linden, NJ.
His real skill was with tools. He enjoyed purchasing old and broken down homes, gutted and remodeled them and took pictures of his own work. He was always open to lending a helping hand to his friends and family.
Teajay received his salvation by the grace of Jesus Christ and by these bible verses which were read to him at the time of his passing.
He did not enter by means of the blood of goats and calves; but he entered the Most Holy Place once for all by his own blood, thus obtaining[a] eternal redemption. - Hebrews 9:12
I have swept away your offenses like a cloud, your sins like the morning mist. Return to me, for I have redeemed you- Isaiah 44:2
