Susanne E. Love

Bridgewater- Susanne E. Love, 62, died suddenly and peacefully on Thursday, April 8 2021 at RWJUH-New Brunswick.  She was the daughter of the late Robert and Elizabeth S. Love.  Susanne was born in Summit and raised in Florham Park before settling in Bridgewater, NJ in 1995.  Susanne worked in the automotive industry for most of her life.  Most recently she worked in the service department as a service advisor for Chevrolet. Previous to that she was co-owner of Love’s Mobil in Somerville, and Love’s Amoco in Bernardsville.  Throughout her life Susanne lived to have fun and she enjoyed being active by bicycling, golfing, kayaking, camping, swimming, and especially loved being at the beach.  She was a fan, fan, fan, of the J-E-T-S, JETS, JETS, JETS! 

Susanne leaves behind to cherish her memory, her beloved partner of 40 years, Elisa M. Madsen; siblings, Kevin Love and wife Susan of New Hampshire, Janeen Love Greer and husband Brian of Texas, Robert M. Love and wife Sue of Basking Ridge, and Colleen Love Heyman and husband Chet of Virginia.  

Super Aunt Susanne will be dearly missed by her “babies” Shealyn Greer, Austin Heyman, Keaton Greer, Dylan Heyman, Chris Love, Jack Love, and Selby Heyman.  

Susanne is honored as a hero for her precious gift of organ donation. 

Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, April 14 from 4-7pm at the Bridgewater Funeral Home, 707 East Main Street, Bridgewater NJ.  Funeral services will be held 10am on Thursday, April 15 followed by burial at Somerset Hills Memorial Park in Basking Ridge. Susanne will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved her.
