Sing T. Fong

Sing Tai Fong, 82, of Bloomfield, NJ, passed away peacefully on Thursday July 25, 2024 surrounded by her loving family. Sing Tai was born in Hong Kong and immigrated to the United States at the age of 20. Sing Tai worked as a seamstress and received multiple awards for her advanced skills and workmanship. In her spare time, she enjoyed tending to her gardens and cooking for her family.  She married the love of her life, Hong You Fong, in 1966. She leaves behind two daughters, Kathleen Swillinger (Todd) and Esther Hilburger (Mark) and 4 grandchildren, Logan and Olivia Swillinger, Kaden and Mika Hilburger. Also survived by her siblings, Jay Lum, William Lum and Rose Wang along with a niece and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 10-12noon, Saturday, August 3, 2024 at Bridgewater Funeral Home, 707 E. Main St., Bridgewater, NJ 08807 with a prayer service at 11:30AM. Burial will follow at Princeton Memorial Park, 403 Gordon Rd., Robbinsville, NJ 08691.
