Sherrie Winkler Lewendon

Bound Brook- Sherrie Winkler Lewendon, died peacefully on July 27, 2021. She was the daughter of the late Janice and Albert Winkler and was born in Irvington, New Jersey on November 9, 1952. She graduated from South Plainfield High School and went to work for Bell Telephone located in Murray Hill, New Jersey. Sherrie and Richard (Rick), were married in 1985 and settled in Bound Brook. Sherrie loved all animals and spent time feeding and caring for different ones. She was very vocal about cruelty to animals. In addition to Richard, she is survived by her brother, Jeffrey Winkler and his family of South Jersey. She will also be missed greatly by many loving sisters and brothers- in- law and nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to the  Bridgewater funeral home, 707 E. Main St., Bridgewater, NJ 08807.
