Scott V. Chudy
Hillsborough- Scott V. Chudy, 54, died on Friday, December 24, 2021 at his home. Born in Somerville, he grew up in Manville and was a graduate of Manville High School and lived most of his life in Hillsborough. He worked as a Union Carpenter for the Carpenters Local 254 in Edison, formerly, Local 455 in Somerville. Scott was a devoted husband and loving father. He always said his greatest accomplishment was his daughter, Samantha. Scott lived everyday to the fullest and was known for his sense of humor and playing pranks on those he loved. He had a big heart for animals, especially his dog Duck, cat Barny, and grand-dog, Willow. Scott always loved having a good time, grabbing a quick bite with his family, playing slots and dancing in Atlantic City, taking trips to Vegas, the Jersey Shore, and cruising the world. Scott was an avid hunter and fisherman, and loved the outdoors. He will be sadly missed by his beloved family and countless friends. He was predeceased by his mother, Elizabeth Chudy and mother-in-law, Alice Seibert. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his beloved wife of 32 years, Linda (Seibert) Chudy; daughter, Samantha Chudy (Jonathan Malko), father, Vincent Chudy (Susan), siblings, Michelle Evanylo (Jeff), Tina Cicero (Chris), Jill Zayas, Joelle Badea (Michael); father-in-law, Larry Seibert; brothers-in-law, Brian Seibert (Caroline) and Lance Seibert (Lisa); nieces and nephews, Drew, Amy, Nicole, Victoria, Breanna, Desiree, Max, Alex, Zackary, Justin, and Jamie. A viewing will be held from 4-7 PM on Thursday, December 30, 2021 at the Bridgewater Funeral Home, 707 East Main Street, Bridgewater, NJ 08807.
