Somerset – Sanjay Sewnarine, 44, passed away with his family by his side at RWJUH of New Brunswick on Wednesday, January 11, 2023. Sanjay was born and raised in New York City, NY to Dindial and Patricia Sewnarine. Sanjay grew up in New Brunswick where he lived for 24 years before moving to Orlando FL where he resided for 4 years, then moving back to Somerset NJ in 2008. Sanjay was a Solutions Architect for Brothers International in Bridgewater, recently moving up to the position of Warranty and Service Manager. In his spare time, Sanjay enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his two children as well as his two dogs Toki and Ivy, working on projects around his house, mentoring friends and family, enjoying his wide variety of taste in music and hosting family gatherings. He will be deeply missed for his genuinely big heart, innovative way of thinking and ability to make people laugh and feel welcomed. Sanjay will be truly and forever missed.

He is predeceased by his father, Dindial Sewnarine, who passed in 2005.

To continue his legacy, Sanjay leaves behind his loving wife of over 26 years, Bibi Baksh-Sewnarine, his beautiful daughters, Saniya and Savannah Sewnarine, mother, Patricia J. Sewnarine, sisters, Trisha ‘Patty’ Sewnarine and Charmen Sewnarine, nephew, Justin Sewnarine and niece, Suhaylah Baksh. In addition to his immediate family Sanjay will be missed by his work family from Brother’s International as well as family and friends that he touched with his nurturing spirit.

Visiting hours will be held from 4-8 pm, on Monday, January 16, 2023 at the Bridgewater Funeral Home, 707 East Main Street, Bridgewater, NJ 08807. Funeral services will be held at 12 noon, Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at the funeral home, followed by cremation at Franklin Memorial Park.
