Rufino "Ted" Gasmen

Rufino “Ted” Gasmen, 82, passed away, Tuesday, November 28, 2023. Ted was honorably discharged from the Navy and used his G.I. Bill of Rights to attend NYU and Somerset County College. He was a member of A.S.P.E., American Society of Sanitary Engineers and the Nat’l Fire Protection Association. He worked in the plumbing/piping design field for over 40 years at companies including CE Lummus, Wigton-Abbot, HV Weeks, Davy McKee and Maitra Associates. After retiring in 2009 he enjoyed working and playing golf at Royce Brook Golf Club, bowling as a Director of SCMBA in their Traveling League and the Fireman’s League at Bowlmor, cruising all over with his wife, trips to the casino and spending time with his grandkids.

He leaves behind his wife of 58 years, Marge, children, Christopher and wife, Sharon Gasmen, daughter Suzanne and husband, Scott Collins and grandkids, Caitlyn, Douglas, Michael, Jack, Ethan and Logan.

A visitation will be held from 4-7PM, on Tuesday, December 5, 2023 at the Bridgewater Funeral Home, 707 E. Main St., Bridgewater, NJ 08807. Cremation will be held privately.
