Rose Marie (Bertucci) Green

Bound Brook- Rose Marie (Bertucci) Green, 79, died on Saturday, March 20, 2021 at Eastern Star Nursing Home. She was a lifelong resident of Bound Brook before moving to Bridgewater in 2012. She was a communicant of St. Joseph’s Church in Bound Brook and a member of the choir for over 45 years. She was a Bound Brook High School graduate, Class of 1960. Rose Marie was very active in the town, she was president of Lafayette and LaMonte School PTA’s, a Band Parent, Friend of Bound Brook Library and volunteer for many fundraisers and sports events. She retired in 2007 from the Somerset County Board of Elections. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, cousin and aunt, and will be greatly missed.

She is predeceased by her husband, William John Green in 2011 and her parents, Theresa and Dominick Bertucci.

She leaves behind to cherish her memories her children, Lisa Green, and husband, Joel Faller of Boston, MA, William Green and his wife, Mary of Phillipsburg, NJ, sister JoAnn Mills of South Bound Brook, 6 grandchildren: Devin, Max, Claire, and Ben Green, and Cecelia and Liam Faller and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She will be missed by the countless people whose lives she touched with her sense of humor and outgoing nature.

Visiting hours will be held from 4-6 PM on Thursday, March 25, 2021 at the Bridgewater Funeral Home, 707 East Main Street, Bridgewater, NJ 08807. Funeral services will begin with a prayer, 9AM on Friday, March 26, 2021 at the funeral home, followed by a 10AM Mass at St. Joseph RC Church in Bound Brook. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Piscataway.
