Robert T. Zabawa

Robert T. Zabawa, 82, died on Thursday, April 11, 2024 at home with his family. Son of the late Albert and Stephanie Zabawa, Zeke was born in Somerville, grew up in Manville and lived most of his life in Bridgewater. He was a graduate of Manville High School. He worked for John's Manville and then went on to work as a truck driver for Bridgewater Township until  his retirement in 2018. He is survived by his beloved wife of 54 years, Shirley; son, Robert T. Zabawa, Jr. of Bridgewater; brother, Albert P. Zabawa, Jr. and wife, Marilyn of Bound Brook. Private burial arrangements have been entrusted to the Bridgewater Funeral Home, 707 East Main Street, Bridgewater, NJ 08807.
