Robert J. Scales

Robert J. Scales, 83, passed away on Sunday, March 27, 2022 with his family by his side. Robert was born in Suffern, NY and was raised in Spring Valley, NY. He is formerly of Wyckoff, NJ, Kendall Park, NJ and Lake Wales, FL. Robert graduated from the University of Miami, and was a CPA in the pharmaceutical industry for most of his career, retiring from Pfizer in 1998. In his spare time, Robert enjoyed restoring classic cars, flying model planes, painting and scuba diving. In retirement, he volunteered as a tour guide for the Boc Tower Estate in Lake Wales. He will be sadly missed by family and friends.

Robert leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving daughters, Marisa Tinder and her husband, Mark, and Jennifer Pijanowski and her husband, Robert, grandchildren, Alexandra Tinder, William Tinder, Brian Pijanowski, and Mary Pijanowski, former spouse, Gail Scales and brother, Donald Scales.

Visiting hours will be held from 10-12PM, Sunday, April 3, 2022 at the Bridgewater Funeral home, 707 E. Main St., Bridgewater, NJ 08807 with a funeral service at 12:00PM.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
