Bridgewater- Robert E. Barlow, Jr., 51, died suddenly on Tuesday, April 6, 2021. Born, raised, and lived most of his life in Bayonne, he was the son of Robert E. Barlow, Sr. and Joyce (Rubinsky). He moved to Bridgewater in 2017. Bob received his BS in Special Education from Jersey City University and then his Masters in Combinatorics and Optimization in Montana. Bob worked in quality assurance for Veckridge Chemical in South Kearny for 30 years. Bob was very active in the Boy Scouts attaining the level of “Eagle Scout”. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him and will always be remembered for his outstanding work ethic and willingness to help others. He is predeceased by his daughter, Rebecca Olivia Barlow; father, Robert E. Barlow, Sr., step-father, Pasquale Corrado; step-mother, Joan Barlow. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his beloved wife, Karen A. (Reilly) Barlow; mother, Joyce Corrado of FL; brother, Charles A. Barlow, Sr. and wife, Nicole of Matawan; sister, Dawn M. Barlow and partner, Mike Gonzalez; step-children, Shayne Heluk of Bridgewater and Kayla Heluk of FL; and several nieces and nephews who where very dear to him. Visiting hours will be held from 4-7 PM on Friday, April 9, 2021 at the Bridgewater Funeral Home, 707 East Main Street, Bridgewater, NJ 08807. A funeral mass will be offered 9:30 AM on Saturday, April 10, 2021 at St. Henry’s Church, 82 West 29th Street, Bayonne, NJ followed by burial at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington.
