Rita C. Roche, 88, passed away on Monday, January 27, 2020 at RWJ Somerset. Rita was born and raised in Newark, NJ to the late James and Catherine Riley. She is formerly from East Orange, Woodbridge and has resided in Middlesex since 1995. Over the years, Rita was a superintendent for many complexes located in Woodbridge and Middlesex. Rita will be greatly missed by family and friends.

Rita is predeceased by her husband, Edward J. Roche; siblings, Florence Wolf, John J. Riley; niece, Jacqueline Hoeflinger, and companion, Karl Able, Sr.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her nieces and nephews, Judy and Dan Cass, Kathy Borcik, Susan Dwyer, and Tyson Hoeflinger, many great nieces and nephews, and many dear friends.

Visitation will be 9AM Wednesday, February 5, 2020 at the Bridgewater Funeral Home, 707 E. Main St., Bridgewater, NJ 08807 followed by a 10AM funeral mass at Our Lady of Mt. Virgin Church in Middlesex. Interment will be with her husband at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veteran Cemetery in Wrightstown, NJ.
