Richard J. Kassick, Sr.

Hillsborough- Richard J. Kassick, Sr., 81, died peacefully at home on Wednesday, December 15, 2021 with his family by his side. One of eleven children, he  was the son of the late John and Anna Kassick. Richard was born in Hazleton, PA and was a graduate of W. Hazleton High School. Richard was in the US Navy from 1957-1960. He worked for Weldotron Corp. in Piscataway where he was a sheet metal mechanic retiring in 1996. He was predeceased by his sons, Richard J. Kassick, Jr. in 2010 and Sean F. Kassick in 2016. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his beloved wife of 61 years, Sally A.(Brogan) Kassick; sons, Mark Kassick of Hillsborough, Kevin Kassick and wife, Denise of Phillipsburg, Keith Kassick of VA; 9 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren; and siblings, Mickey Kassick, Marie Swett, Martha Santilli and Rita Liene.  A funeral mass will be offered 11AM on Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at St. Joseph's Church, 34 Yorktown Road, Hillsborough, NJ 08844. Arrangements are by the Bridgewater Funeral Home, 707 East Main Street, Bridgewater, NJ 08807.
