Hillsborough- Richard T. Gruszewski, 73, died at home on Sunday, March 27, 2022. Son of the late Basil and Teodora Gruszewski, Richard was born in England and came to the United States as a young boy. He was a 1971 graduate of Glassboro State College where he received a BA in History. Richard is formerly of Somerville where he lived for over 25 years before moving to Hillsborough in 1995. He was a Police Officer for the Somerville Police Department retiring after 25 years of service. Richard will be sadly missed by family and friends.

Richard leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife, Tracy Gruszewski, and children, Michele Gruszewski and Angela Gruszewski and sister, Krystyna Mahaun and her husband, Jack.

Visiting hours will be held from 4-7PM on Wednesday, March 30, 2022, at the Bridgewater Funeral Home, 707 E. Main St., Bridgewater, NJ 08807. Prayers will be said 8AM, Thursday, March 31, 2022 followed by a 9AM funeral mass at Christ the Redeemer Parish (Sacred Heart Church) in Manville. Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery.
