Bound Brook- Richard A. Coolbaugh, 86, died peacefully on Monday, July 27, 2020 at Bridgeway Care Center in Bridgewater. Richard was one of eight children, born to the late Carl and Gladys Coolbaugh in Falls, PA. He was raised in Bradley Gardens and resided in Bound Brook since 1963. He was a chemist for many years employed for American Cyanamid in Bridgewater. Richard was an avid bowler and in his spare time, he enjoyed building birdhouses. He will be deeply missed by family and friends especially those who knew him for his dry wit and his unbelievable helpfulness whenever asked.

Richard is predeceased by his beloved wife, Marian (Deleski) Coolbaugh, who passed in 2009.

Richard leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving son, Jamie Coolbaugh and his wife, Carla, grandchildren, Mairin Dugan, and Cailin Dugan, and great-grand child, Amelia Shea Dugan.

Visiting hours will be held from 4-7PM on Thursday, July 30, 2020 at the Bridgewater Funeral Home, 707 East Main Street, Bridgewater, NJ 08807.  Funeral services will be held at 10AM, Friday, July 31, 2020 at the Bradley Gardens Reformed Church, 124 Old York Rd, Bridgewater, followed by burial at Bound Brook Cemetery.
