Peter Berinstein of New York City, died Monday evening, May 16, 2022 in Toms River NJ. Peter was 78 years old and is survived by his devoted wife of over 33 years, Sandra as well as his two children, Justine and Oliver, his grandchildren Nika and Luke and his sister Nancy Rosenthal. He will be greatly missed by those closest to him, his large extended family as well as his vast network of friends and colleagues around the globe.
While Peter was born in Springfield Massachusetts, Peter spent all of his adult life in his beloved New York City, the city he called home until his death. Peter was a passionate composer, artist and lover of all the musical and theatrical arts. While he worked for many years as a marketing executive at some of the world's largest companies eventually leading him to create his own company, he continued to devote himself to his love of the arts as well as their preservation through his individual contributions and his participation with the Players for close to four decades.
A Private funeral service will be held on Friday, May 20, 2022 at Somerset Hills Memorial Park, 95 Mount Airy Road, Basking Ridge, NJ with Rabbi Dr. Bernhard Rosenberg officiating.
