Paul L. Gattuso

Paul L. Gattuso, 64, passed away peacefully at his home in Piscataway in the early morning of October 27 2024. He was born in Hazlet, NJ, raised in Nutley and graduated from Nutley High School in 1978. He later moved to Middlesex, NJ where he spent most of his adult life before moving to Piscataway in 2018.

Paul worked at the Star Ledger for 35 years as their Maintenance Manager, followed by  Watchung Terrace Senior Housing in Middlesex also as a Maintenance Manager before retiring.

Paul is predeceased by his father, Leonard Gattuso, mother Janet Gattuso and sister Nancy Gattuso of Nutley. He is survived by his long time beloved partner, Marianne Petti, his son Daniel Gattuso and his wife Brianne and his three grandchildren, Julianna, Aylvia, and Jordan of Whitehouse Station; his son Michael Gattuso of Bridgewater and his sister Lisa Parigi and her husband Pat Parigi of South Carolina. He will be dearly missed by Madisyn and Jason Petti and his nieces and nephews: Brian Parigi, Alexa Parigi, Larissa Mangum, Nick Mangum, Chris Mangum, Chris Castellano and many other nieces and nephews. 

Paul loved spending time at the shore. He had a true passion for boating. He also enjoyed skiing, traveling, sports and spending time with family and friends. Paul will be remembered by his sense of humor, willingness to help anyone and his ability to fix anything.  

Memorial visitation will be held from 4-6PM on Friday, November 1, 2024 at the Bridgewater Funeral Home, 707 E. Main St., Bridgewater, NJ 08807.
