Patricia A. Tarnowski, 88, born and raised in Glen Lyon, PA while living the majority of her long life in Raritan, NJ and recently a resident at Brandywine Assisted Living in Brick, NJ. passed away surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, June 14, 2026 in Brick, NJ.
Born on August 8, 1937, she was the eldest child born to the late Harry and Olga Mosejczik Fudjack. Patricia was a member of the Class of 1955 of Newport Township High School where she was a head cheerleader.
She attended Temple University in Philadelphia where she graduated with a degree in nursing. She was employed at Temple University Hospital as a registered nurse for a decade. She was a wonderful homemaker raising two beautiful daughters.
Patricia was a member of St. Bernard of Clairvaux Parish, Bridgewater. She enjoyed reading and watching General Hospital. She also enjoyed watching baseball with her husband Tom.
Surviving are her beloved husband of 58 years, Thomas Tarnowski, daughters Ann Marie Tarnowski of Brick, and Teresa Tarnowski and her husband Barclay Boody of Little Silver, NJ, brother and sister-in-law, Joseph and Barbara Fudjack of Hilton Head, SC and 22 nieces and nephews and their children, cousin Dorothy Ashford of Wapwallopen, PA, and first cousins once removed Debbie Fudjak of Glen Lyon, PA and Ann Louise Fudjak (Donald) Cragle of Nanticoke PA.
Visitation will be held from 8:30AM to 9:30AM, Thursday, June 18, 2026 at the Bridgewater Funeral Home, 707 E. Main St., Bridgewater, NJ 08807 followed by a 10AM funeral mass at St. Bernard Church in Bridgewater, NJ. Entombment will follow at St. Bernard Mausoleum.
Donations can be made in her memory to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN, 38105.
