Patricia “Patty” DeCicco passed away unexpectedly on October 23, 2024 at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital in Somerville, surrounded by loving family.
Born in Mount Carmel, PA on July 29, 1940, Patty and her mother Mary Britt moved to New Jersey at an early age. In New Jersey, Patty met the love of her life, Anthony “Shakey” DeCicco, former mayor of Raritan and owner of DeCicco‘s Tavern. Happily married for 64 years, they enjoyed many summers at their shore house, going for day trips and spending quality time together.
Patty enjoyed traveling, especially to Europe, as well as shopping and dining out. She was always up and ready for anything. She cherished the many lifelong friendships she built throughout the years.
A cancer survivor for the last 25 years, she showed great strength and courage, and it never stopped her from living life to the fullest. She was one tough cookie!
Patty is survived by her loving husband, Anthony DeCicco of Raritan, daughter, Denise DeCicco, and her partner Andrea Ceresa of Beach Haven West, NJ. She is predeceased by her son Anthony DeCicco, Jr., and her mother Mary Britt. She leaves behind many loving friends and family.
Visiting hours will be held from 2-5PM on Sunday, October 27, 2024 at the Bridgewater Funeral Home, 707 E. Main Street, Bridgewater, NJ 08807. Funeral services will be held 10AM on Monday, October 28, 2024 at the funeral home followed by entombment at St. Bernard Cemetery in Bridgewater.
