Norma I. Turner

Norma I. Turner, 79, peacefully passed away on Saturday, August 16, 2025, at St. Luke’s Hospital in Warren, NJ.

Born in Dexter, Iowa, to the late Frieda Rohwer, Norma was raised in DeMott, Iowa, and had made the Bridgewater, NJ, area her home for over 45 years.

Norma worked as a Supervisor for Somerset County Transportation in Bridgewater, retiring in 2007 after 30 years of committed service. She was known for her strong sense of independence, a quality admired by all who knew her.

Norma especially cherished her time with her great-grandchildren, with whom she shared a deep and loving bond.

Norma is predeceased by her grandson, Ryan Turner.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her loving children, William D. Turner, Sr. and his wife, Kim, Tammie N. Ladd and her husband, Robert, and Michael A. Turner, and his wife, Diane; grandchildren, William D. Turner, Jr., Matthew Turner, and Jacob S. Turner; and great grandchildren, Jackson and Nathan.

Visitation will be held from 4-7PM on Friday, Sept. 5, 2025 at the Bridgewater Funeral Home, 707 E. Main St., Bridgewater, NJ 08807 with a funeral service at 6:30PM. Cremation will be held privately.
