Nancy J. Zukasky

Nancy J. Zukasky, 78, passed away on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at her home in Manville, New Jersey.

Nancy was born in Bayonne, New Jersey, to the late Joseph and Ludmila Kapcar. She was raised in Bayonne and Elizabeth before moving to Manville in 1969, where she made her home and raised her family.

She began her career as a beautician before becoming a proud stay-at-home mom. Later, she rejoined the workforce with Munich Re as a claims staff assistant.

A devoted grandma, Nancy loved spoiling her grandchildren and caring for her beloved pets. She also cared for many outside cats providing them with food, water and shelter. When she was not spending time with her grandchildren or pets, she enjoyed watching her soap operas and mystery shows, especially Mystery Diagnosis. Nancy loved shopping and going to lunch with her friends, Jane and Joanne. She was an avid user of the Manville Public Library and loved to read mysteries. Nancy was an amazing cook and often showed her love to family and friends through meals. Italian cooking was a favorite including her homemade sauce, manicotti and lasagna.

Nancy was predeceased by her beloved husband, Joseph A. Zukasky; her daughter, Gina M. Zukasky; her granddaughter Jaime Angela Andino and her son-in-law, Ralph Andino III (Andy).

Nancy is survived by her loving children, Jodi A. Zukasky Andino and James Zukasky; her cherished grandchildren, Ashlee M. Zukasky, Justin A. Andino, Julia R. Zukasky, James A. Andino, Emma J. Zukasky, Carter J. Zukasky ; and her sister, Joan Kapcar Brennan and beloved nieces, nephews and friends.

Nancy had a kind and caring heart and now God has called another of his angels  home. Those who were blessed to know her will miss her dearly.
