Molly Hoover

Middlesex-Molly Hoover died peacefully on Friday, April 28, 2023 at the age of 92. Born and raised in the Wilkes Barre, PA area, she was the daughter of the late Leon and Hazel Searfoss Davis. Molly resided in North Plainfield for 32 years before moving to Middlesex in 1994. She was employed by Two Guys in Watchung and McCory’s in Plainfield. Molly was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Lydia Chapter for over 50 years. Molly was predeceased by her husband of 62 years, Gordon; siblings, Alvin, George, Lenton, Cleon (Bill), and Richard Davis, Jean Angley, Rachel MacAdera, Freda Hoffman, Addy Keefe, Lucy Dietz and an infant brother and sister. She is survived by her beloved daughter, Linda Santacross and husband, Tony with whom she resided; son, Harry Davis and wife, Judy of Wilkes Barre, PA; granddaughters, Shannon Quinn and husband, Martin, Amy Brenner and husband, Gary, Lorrie LeClair and husband, Christopher; great-grandchildren, Evlin, Donovan, Kaylee, Bradley, Noah and Jacob; brothers-in-law, Gerald Hoover, and Dale Hoover and wife, Jean. Visiting hours will be held from 4-7 PM on Thursday, May 4, 2023 at the Bridgewater Funeral Home, 707 East Main Street, Bridgewater, NJ 08807. Funeral services will be held 10 AM on Friday, May 5, 2023 at the funeral home followed by burial at Bound Brook Cemetery.
