Michael R. Ford

Hillsborough, Michael R. Ford, 89, passed away on Wednesday, April 9, 2025, at RWJ in New Brunswick. Michael was born in Shamokin, PA to the late Michael and Eileen Ford, and was raised in New Brunswick, NJ. He has resided in Hillsborough, NJ since 1976. He served his country in the United States Marine Corps from 1954-1957. Michael was employed for many years as a machinist and maintenance mechanic for several New Jersey companies including Johnson & Johnson, retiring in 2004.  In his spare time, Michael enjoyed shooting, do-it-yourself projects and spending time with his family.

Michael is predeceased by his wife, Joyce Ford, who passed in 2023.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his stepson, Donald Henry and his wife Meghan, daughter, Diane Ford, grandchildren, Schuyler Hazard, Aster Lee Lufkin, Patrick Lufkin, Abigail Henry and Caroline Henry and sister Elizabeth Muller.

A memorial visitation will be held from 9:30-10:30AM, Saturday, June 7, 2025 at the Bridgewater Funeral Home, 707 E. Main St., Bridgewater, NJ 08807 with a memorial service at 10:30AM.
