Mary E. Doney
Bridgewater- Mary E. Doney, 71, died peacefully at home on Sunday, May 18, 2014 with her family by her side. Daughter of the late John and Elizabeth Bartkovich, Mary was born in Jeddo, PA and lived the past 40 years in Bridgewater. Mary was a secretary for National Starch in Bridgewater retiring in 2004. She was a communicant of Christ the Redeemer Parish in Manville. Mary will be missed by all who knew her and always remembered as the most devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Mary was best known for helping others and putting their needs before her own. Many referred to her as “Saint Mary”. She is predeceased by her husband Ronald E. Doney in 2007 and brother, Joseph Bartkovich in 2008. She is survived by her beloved children, Cheryl and husband Dominick Page of South Bound Brook, Michele and husband Jeff Redrup of Piscataway, Renee and husband William Wells of Manville; grandchildren, Brian & Kayla, Kevin & Desiree, Dylan & Alysa, Amanda and Emma; great-grandchildren, Alexis, Cassidy, Jason, Austin, Alyssa, Sadie, Kevin Jr., and Jude; sister, Anita Hreha and husband John and niece Beth Bartkovich and beloved cousins. Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, May 21, 2014 from 6-9 PM at the Bridgewater Funeral Home, 707 East Main Street, Bridgewater, NJ 08807. Prayers will be said 8AM at the funeral home on Thursday, May 22, 2014 followed by a 9AM Mass at Sacred Heart Church in Manville.. Entombment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Piscataway. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Sacred Heart Church in Manville
