Hillsborough- Mark V. Tarantola, 61, died peacefully at home on Wednesday, December 9, 2020 with his family by his side. Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, he resided in Hillsborough the past 30 years. He was a 1979 Graduate of Bishop Ford High School. Mark was a Vice President of JP Morgan Chase. He managed databases in Bound Brook, Whippany, Jersey City, Ohio, Texas, England and India. He enjoyed working out, hiking in the Sourland Mountains with his dogs Butkus, Chloe, and Brando. And lets not forget he was a die-hard NY Giants fan. Mark is predeceased by  his father Vincent J. Tarantola in 2016. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his beloved wife of 36 years, Christina (Yovina) Tarantola of Hillsborough; son, Anthony V. Tarantola and wife Teresa of Palm Coast, FL; daughter, Brittany Tarantola of Hillsborough; grandson, John Lucca Tarantola of Hillsborough; mother, Joan Tarantola of Brooklyn, NY and brother, Anthony Tarantola of Brooklyn, NY. Visiting hours will be held from 2-4 and 7-9 PM on Monday, December 14, 2020 at the Bridgewater Funeral Home, 707 East Main Street, Bridgewater, NJ 08807. Prayers will be said 8:30AM on Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at the funeral home followed by a 9:30AM Mass at Mary Mother of God Church in Hillsborough. Entombment will follow at St. Bernard's Cemetery in Bridgewater.
