Readington- Marie DePoe, 63, entered eternal rest peacefully on Friday, September 27, 2013 at Morristown Memorial Hospital. Marie was born in Somerville and lived in Bound Brook and Hillsborough before moving to Readington. She formerly owned J.H. Trucking in Hillsborough. Marie was an avid animal and cat lover. She cared for many cats giving them all a home over the years. She is predeceased by her husband Joseph DePoe; and son, Joey DePoe. She is survived by her mother, Anna Pizzo of Bound Brook; daughters, Dawn Marie DePoe and husband Rey Santos Middlesex; Stephanie Diez and fiancé Paul J. DePass of Bound Brook; brother, Joseph Pizzo of Bound Brook and grandson, Rey Joseph Santos. Visiting hours will be held from 6-9PM on Tuesday, October 1, 2013 at the Bridgewater Funeral Home, 707 East Main Street, Bridgewater, NJ 08807. Funeral services will be held 10 AM at the funeral home on Wednesday, October 2, 2013. Burial will follow at St. Bernard’s Cemetery in Bridgewater. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Marie’s name to Crossed Paws Rescue, 301 Pennsylvania Avenue, Phillipsburg, NJ 08865.
