Maria Zawadzka

Nazareth, PA- Maria Zawadzka, 98, passed away on Saturday, September 12, 2020 at Gracedale Nursing Home in Nazareth, PA. She was born in Poland to the late Jan and Paulina Szkola and immigrated to the United States in 1966. She resided in Jersey City and Brooklyn before moving to Pennsylvania. Maria was employed for Woolworths in New York City for many years. She will be sadly missed by family and friends.

She is predeceased by her children, Maria Barbara Ayala and Stanley Zawadzki.

Maria leaves behind her loving daughter, Christine Ciesla and husband Edward, 4 grandchildren and 6 great grand children.

Memorial mass will be held at 11AM on Monday, September 21, 2020 at St. Mary of Czestochowa Church in Bound Brook. Burial of ashes will follow at Greenwood Cemetery in Brooklyn, NY.
