Margaret "Peggy" A. Miller

Margaret A. Miller, 82, known to all her friends and family as Peggy, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 24, 2025, at RWJ University Hospital in Somerville, NJ.

Margaret was born and raised in Elizabeth, NJ, to the late Francis McQuillan and Mary Rhein. She was formerly a resident of Rahway and Warren Township before settling in Basking Ridge over a decade ago.

A proud homemaker for many years, Margaret devoted her life to her family, offering endless love, support, and care. Later in life, she joined the workforce and was employed at Warren Chiropractic with Dr. David Schlingloff for over 20 years, a role she cherished deeply. Whether large or small, every task at the office was one she took on with heart and dedication. Margaret had a lifelong passion for bowling, and a love for Welsh Corgis, owing several of them over her lifetime.  Margaret will be deeply missed by all who knew her, especially her beloved grandson, George, with whom she shared a special bond and many cherished moments.

She was predeceased by her husband, George J. Miller, who passed in 2017, and her brother, Francis J. McQuillan.

She is survived by her loving son, George E. Miller, and his wife, Robyn; and her cherished grandson, George R. Miller.

Cremation was held privately under the care of Bridgewater Funeral Home, 707 E. Main St., Bridgewater, NJ 08807.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
