Margaret F. Strollo

Manville- Margaret "Margie" F. Strollo, 65, died on Monday, July 12, 2021 at home. Born in Brooklyn, NY, Margie lived in Westbury, Long Island and  Kew Gardens, Queens before moving to Manville in 1976. Margie was a 1973 graduate of Westbury High School and was a graduate of Berkeley College which helped start her career as a secretary for AT&T.  Margie was a homemaker, obtained a veterinary assistant certificate, and the past 25 years, was a breeder of Pomeranian dogs. In addition, she enjoyed various crafts throughout the years including painting, ceramics, sewing, cross stitch and crochet as well as computer art. She was an avid reader and a lifelong learner, she applied the veterinary knowledge to care for her poms.

She is predeceased by her mother, Grace Petrany. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her beloved husband of 46 years, John P. Strollo; children, Susan A. Zack and husband, Wayne, Philip J.  Strollo and wife, Sintia; grandchildren, Luisa, Yoselin; father, Ronald Petrany; siblings, Stephen Petrany and wife, Nancy Ann, Catherine Spinola and Ronald Petrany, Jr. and wife, Valeria; as well as many nieces, nephews and grand-nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be held from 2-4 and 7-9 PM on Tuesday, July 20, 2021 at the Bridgewater Funeral Home, 707 East Main Street, Bridgewater, NJ 08807. Prayers will be said 8AM on Wednesday, July 21, 2021 at the funeral home  followed by a 9AM funeral mass at Christ the Redeemer Parish (Sacred Heart Church) in Manville. Entombment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery in Bridgewater.
