Leo L. Plick
Hillsborough- Leo L. Plick, died peacefully Saturday, January 23, 2021. He was 87. Son of the late Michael and Mildred Plick, Leo was born in Bound Brook and was a 1950 graduate of Bound Brook High School. He spent most of his life in Bound Book and Manville before moving to Hillsborough in 2019. Leo was a Korean War Veteran serving in the US Marines. Most recently, he worked for Rutgers University in New Brunswick as a registrar clerk retiring in 2015. Additionally, Leo was a partner/owner of Tom and Leo’s bar in Bound Brook and later worked for FORMICA in Piscataway. Leo was a diehard Notre Dame fan and Rutgers football fan.
Leo is predeceased by his beloved wife, Joyce Plick who died in 2014, his sister Helen Plick, his brother Thomas Plick, his brother in-law Robert Biribin and his wife Lou Biribin and his brother in-law Renato Biribin.
Leo leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving children, Dawn Robinson (Stuart) of MD, Michael A. Plick (Jacquelyn) of Cranford, Gina Plick (David Horincewich) of Manville; grandchildren, Amelia Robinson, Sophie Robinson, Alexander Plick, Caroline Plick, Aidan Plick, and Savannah Horincewich. He also leaves behind his in-laws Lorraine Plick, Richard and Viki Biribin, Elaine Biribin, Carol and William Rome and Valerie and Tom Cummings. Leo will also be remembered by his many nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be held from 6-9 PM on Friday, January 29, 2021 at the Bridgewater Funeral Home, 707 East Main Street, Bridgewater, NJ 08807. Prayers will be said 9 AM at the Funeral Home on Saturday, January 30, 2021 followed by a 10 AM Mass at St. Joseph’s Church in Bound Brook.
