Lena M. Del Grosso

Lena was born and raised in Cambridge, Massachusetts to the late parents of Frank and Philomena Avignone. She lived in West Orange N.J. before moving to Bridgewater. Lena was a proud homemaker who enjoyed visiting with her 7 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.  She will be sadly missed by family and friends.

She is predeceased by her husband John Del Grosso who passed away in 1982 and her five siblings, Dante, Al, Mario, Pat and Frank.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her children Ernest Del Grosso, his wife, Joan, John Del Grosso, his wife Cindylu, Kathryn Mazza, her husband Vincent.

Visitation will be Thursday, August 27, 2015 from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM at Bridgewater Funeral Home, 707 E. Main St., Bridgewater, NJ 08807.  

Prayers will be said 9:00 AM, Friday, August 28, 2015 at the funeral home, followed by 10 AM Mass at St. Joseph’s Church in Bound Brook. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover.
