Kenneth F. Griggs, Sr.

Kenneth Griggs Sr. passed away Saturday, April 27th, 2024 at 5:22 PM peacefully surrounded by his family. He grew up in Parlin, NJ, and attended Sayreville War Memorial High School, class of 1974, and graduated from Caldwell University. He was part owner and founder of Service Apex for 22 years and an active Loft Farms Board of Trustees member. Ken was a loving father and a proud family man who enjoyed extravagant dinners and beach vacations. Ken was predeceased by his parents, Kenneth J. and Bertha Griggs, and his wife, Linda Stempler Griggs. He is survived by his sister, Dorothy Lucas, and her husband Vincent, and his five children: Kenneth Jr. (Roota), Kara (Kenneth), Alexa (Phillip), Ryan (Jessica), and Kate, and his "best buddy"/dog, Russel {with one L}. He is also survived by his five grandchildren: Kenneth the 3rd, Elijah, James, Matteo, and Grace. 

Visitation will be held from 4-8PM on Wednesday, May 1, 2024 at the Bridgewater Funeral Home, 707 E. Main St., Bridgewater, NJ 08807. Funeral services will be 9AM, Thursday, May 2, 2024 at the funeral home followed by entombment at Woodbridge Memorial Park in Woodbridge. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to American Cancer Society or ASPCA.
