Kenneth R. Fields
With heavy hearts and unwavering faith, we announce the passing of Kenny Fields, who went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on September 29th, 2025 at the young age of 43. A lifelong resident of New Jersey up until the past 4 years, where he resided in Vermont.
Kenny was passionate about soccer, playing the game throughout his life with joy, heart, and determination. An exceptional athlete, he earned MVP honors during high school and was admired for both his skill and sportsmanship on the field. He was a lifelong New York Giants fan, cheering them on through every season. Kenny also found peace in the stillness of nature, spending countless hours fishing—a hobby he cherished and shared with those he loved.
Kenny was known for his strong work ethic and his genuine love for working with people. He began working at the young age of 11, delivering newspapers. He enjoyed working and always put his all into every job he acquired. His love for landscaping was matched by his exceptional talent in sales.
One of the most transformative chapters of Kenny’s life was the three years he spent at Adult & Teen Challenge, where he not only received ministry and healing but also poured into the lives of others, sharing the hope and freedom he had found in Christ. His time there left a lasting impact on everyone he encountered, reflecting his deep faith and servant’s heart.
Above all, Kenny loved his family—the anchor of his heart and the greatest treasure of his life. He is survived by his loving parents, Ken and Lisa Fields; his sisters, Amanda Sherwood and husband Tim, Katie Saultz and husband Josh, and Amy Fields; his beloved children, Joseph, Hannah, and Summer; and his stepchildren, Kelsey and Nathan. He is also lovingly remembered by his aunts, uncles, many cousins, and his nephew and nieces, all of whom held a special place in his heart.
Kenny’s faith was a quiet but constant strength throughout his life. We find comfort and peace in knowing that he is now whole and at rest in the presence of Jesus, free from pain and embraced in eternal love. Though we mourn, we do so with hope—trusting that we will see him again one day in heaven.
Kenny’s life was a blessing. He is loved beyond words and will be deeply missed.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to Adult & Teen Challenge Vermont, an organization close to Kenny’s heart, to help others find the same freedom and hope through Christ that he did.
Visitation will be held from 2-5PM on Sunday, October 5, 2025 at the Bridgewater Funeral Home, 707 E. Main St. Bridgewater, NJ 08807. Funeral services will be held 10Am on Monday, October 6, 2025 at the funeral home, followed by burial at Neshanic Cemetery in Hillsborough, NJ.
