Kathleen L Runyon

Kathleen L. Runyon, 73, passed away at her home on Saturday, May 25, 2025 with her loving family at her side. Kathleen was born in Somerville, NJ to the late George F., I and Leila May Runyon. She was raised in Oldwick, NJ and is formerly from Florida before moving back to New Jersey and residing throughout Somerset County over the years, settling in Hillsborough. She would later reside with her son, Patrick in Branchburg in 2008. Kathleen was a trouble shooter for PSE&G for over 25 years. Over the years she has loved numerous animals, but nothing as special as her love and connection she would have for her Labradors. In her spare time, Kathleen was an avid reader, and thoroughly enjoyed baseball, especially the NY Yankees. She would frequently attend Patriot baseball games with family and friends. Kathleen loved spending time down the shore, frequenting as much as she could. She will be greatly missed by family and friends.

She is predeceased by the love of her life, Ronald David who passed in 2019 and her siblings, George Runyon, II, Donna M. Runyon, and Charles D. Runyon.

Kathleen leaves behind to cherish her memory, her beloved son, Patrick David, step-children, Jennifer Day, Janet DeLuca, Ron David, Jr., John David, and Lynn David and siblings, Patricia A. Franzyshen and James R. Runyon, many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

A memorial visitation will be held from 2-4PM on Friday, May 30, 2025 at the Bridgewater Funeral Home, 707 E. Main St., Bridgewater, NJ 08807 with a memorial service at 3:30PM.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude Children Research Hospital, or St. Hubert’s Animal Welfare Center.
