Karen Marie DeFazio

Karen Marie DeFazio, 62, of Manville, passed away Sunday, March 1, 2020. Karen was the daughter of Dorothy Van Doren and the late Robert Van Doren, also of Manville. Karen was a graduate of Rider College. She married Louis DeFazio and they resided for a time in Key West, Florida. When she returned to New Jersey, she worked at National Starch/Ingredion until her retirement. Karen loved animals, word puzzles, and shopping. She was a traveling companion for her mother after her father’s death.

Karen is predeceased by her sister, Andrea Van Doren.

She is survived by her mother, Dorothy (Gabryelski) Van Doren and her brothers, Robert Van Doren and Michael Van Doren, her sister, Lorraine Mastalski and husband, Thad, her nephew and niece and their families. Final disposition will be held privately at the Neshanic Cemetery.
