Juliana G. Lusczek
Bridgewater- Juliana “Julie” G. Lusczek, 101, died peacefully on Wednesday, July 29, 2020 at Laurel Circle in Bridgewater. Eldest of five children, Julie was the daughter of the late Felix and Veronica Kantorski. Julie was born in Bloomfield, NJ and lived in Manville before moving to Bridgewater in 1950. Julie was a graduate of Clinton High School. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who worked tirelessly as she provided for her family. Julie always had three meals on the table for her husband and children and then would go out to work evenings for Diehl’s Manufacturing. Through hard work, she was able to put her two sons through college debt free. Later, she then went on to work for Ethicon as a hand winder making suture needles before her retirement. Julie was a faithful communicant of St. Mary of Czestochowa Church in Bound Brook, a member and secretary of the former Leisure Club, Altar Rosary Society member and bingo volunteer. She enjoyed spending time with her family, playing bingo, crocheting and will always be remembered for the 350 plus lap robes she made for local nursing homes. Julie was predeceased by her husband, Joseph J. Lusczek, Sr. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her beloved children, Edward Lusczek and his wife, Elizabeth of Newton, NJ, Joseph John Lusczek, Jr. and his wife, Deborah of Clayton, Ohio; Bernadette, Valerie, Joseph III, Nadine; great-grandchildren, Brett and Kayla; and great-great-grandchildren, Christopher and Tyler. Visiting hours will be held from 8:30 AM- 9:30 AM on Monday, August 3, 2020 at the Bridgewater Funeral Home, 707 East Main Street, Bridgewater, NJ 08807. A funeral mass will follow 10 AM at St. Mary of Czestochowa Church in Bound Brook. Burial will take place at Resurrection Cemetery in Piscataway.
